Two-Tier System In Operation For Third Time
The draws for the 2024 TG4 Leinster Ladies Senior Football Championship took place on October 21st 2023. The championship will work as a two-tier system for the third time with the top 8 teams in the province seeded. The top 4 teams in the province will receive a bye to the quarter-finals, while the remaining 8 teams will compete in a preliminary round.
The preliminary round draw has thrown up some interesting match-ups, with Laois and Offaly set to meet in a local derby. Kildare will face Wicklow, while Wexford will take on Carlow. The winners of these three games will join the top 4 seeds in the quarter-finals.
The quarter-final draw will take place on November 18th 2023. The semi-finals will take place on December 10th and 11th, with the final scheduled for January 1st 2024.
