Grigor Dimitrov Advances to Fourth Round in Rome

Bulgarian tennis star Grigor Dimitrov has advanced to the fourth round of the Internazionali BNL d'Italia for the first time since 2020. Dimitrov defeated Alexander Zverev on Friday at the Miami Open, following his upset victory over Carlos Alcaraz.

Dimitrov's Impressive Run

Dimitrov has been in excellent form this season. He reached the semifinals of the Australian Open in January and has won two titles on the ATP Tour. His victory over Zverev was particularly impressive, as the German is a former world No. 2 and a multiple Grand Slam champion.

Next Opponent

Dimitrov will face fellow Bulgarian Adrian Andreev in the fourth round. Andreev has also been in good form this season, reaching the quarterfinals of the ATP 250 event in Marrakech. The two Bulgarians will be facing off for the first time on the ATP Tour.
